Agriturismo Giulia opened its first house in 2001, Casa il Pino, after a restoration that lasted eight years undertaken by Andrea and Renato, his father. Casa il Pino is part of an ancient monastery of 1100, becoming a stable in the twentieth century.
Cinzia, Andrea’s wife, has been involved since the beginning, and offers a warm welcome to guests and takes care of every little detail to ensure them an unforgettable stay.In the meantime, Giulia was born, and from an early age she helped her mum in welcoming guests. She is fluent in several languages, including English and French. In 2013, together with Katia, Cinzia's sister, we opened two more apartments, the result of years of work, in the charming village of Renai, five minutes from the town of Castelfiorentino.
The Girasole apartment, as part of an ancient furnace, has a vault in bricks in the living room, and originally was a place where bricks were baked. The Lavanda apartment, was also part of the same ancient furnace which belonged to a shepherd who used to graze his goats just where the swimming pool now stands. Both have been tastefully converted into holiday accommodation whilst maintaining their original quaintness. So we are a family group and over the years have received many compliments. We love to receive new and returning guests!
“The heart of hospitality, for me, is the ability to focus completely and totally on one person, even if only for a matter of seconds, yet long enough that you've got a clear connection, a channel between the two of you.”
